Default Words of the Beatles are Best Ever...

WORDS OF BEATLES BEST EVER Mar 14 2005

"ALL you need is love" have been voted the greatest words ever spoken.

The title of the Beatles 1960s hit was voted ahead of "I love you", which was seventh, and "I have a dream" (10th).

The poll of 2,000 internet users voted Winston Churchill's wartime rally cry - "Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few" - into fourth place.

Luton First, organiser of the Greatest Words Ever Spoken poll, will inscribe the Beatle's words in a passenger arrivals walkway at London Luton Airport.

Paul Kehoe, airport managing director, said: "They'll send out a positive message to all visitors."

TOP FIVE: 1 All you need is love 16%, 2 Unto thine own self be true 14%, 3 All journeys begin with a first step 11%, 4 Never in the field of human conflict has so much been owed by so many to so few 9%, 5 Do unto others as you would have them do unto you 7%.

Unless you're diabetic, then I think that insulin would be *slightly* more important...

That's really neat! Just another sign that the Beatles legacy is forever.

I used "Imagine all the people living life in peace."

I guess John didn't think "All you need is lunch...lunch...lunch is all you need" has quite the same ring!
