I actually listned to that 'song' for the first time in years from beginning to end. and you know what - I actually enjoyed it! Its a damn good song. Those sounds are so spooky! Its like a modern 20th century existential symphony. And it just may be the 'quintessential' beatles song. beatles music distilled to it essence is about breaking the rules and boundries. no song does that better than #9 #9 #9 #9.....

I like Revolution#9. It's very good piece of avant-garde from John who was a relative amateur in this field, compared to Paul for example and other avant-garde artists of this period.

Charlie believed he was Abbadon the destroyer mentioned in this passage that speaks of locusts with faces like men and hair like women, and with power in their voices. Yeah, Sgt....where the heck did you find those? I only recognized some of the bits, since they get really loud at some parts. Then again, I don't think I've ever sat down and tried to hear the words. I'll have to try that sometime...but not at night. lol
