Default Jimi Hendrix, Chuck Berry, Motown

Well I was listening to my Radio on my computer and I heard teh Chuck Berry version of Rock and Roll Music, frankly I prefer The Beatles and then I heard The Kimi Hendrix version of Day Tripper and the original Motown version of Hold Me Tight. I still prefer The Beatles. If you've heard different groups doing Beatles songs tell me about it and which one you heard.

There are literally thousands of these. My favorites are:
Joe Cocker, "With a Little Help from My Friends"
Elton John, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"
Leo Sayer, "I Am the Walrus"

Covers are an interesting thing when it comes to the beatles. There are literaly millions of them out there. A lot of the covers on the earlier albums and on BBC broadcasts are equal to or better than the originals in a lot of cases. This is not to say the originals are all terrible pieces of garbage though, they are still great peices of music for the most part. The same is not always true for other people doing beatles songs though, there are some good covers out there(Jeff Beck, Phish, Grateful Dead) and some damn horrible ones(Serigo Mendes & Tiajuanna Brass, Fiona Apple, Looney Tunes). Of course this is all my opinion and there are people that probably think different on this.

Peace,
Caleb
