Always was in MY dictionary, anyway!

Paul's cute...I mean, I saw him up close and I think he's definitely the best-looking man of his age I have EVER seen. And he was cute way back when, too...beautiful eyes, handsome face...but always just a bit too pretty for my tastes.

But I guess there was something MORE about John, at least as far as I was concerned...something about the way he carried himself, the way he stood with his guitar, everything! And I'm in agreement with you, Angel -- OMG, those pictures of him in the early days in the leathers... I once bought a whole book about the Beatles' early days strictly on the strength of some photos that just gave me PALPITATIONS...I mean, the book turned out to be a GREAT one (How They Became the Beatles, by Gareth Palowski), but believe me when I say it was the complete set of Albert Merrion photos of them in their leather gear that just...well...you get the idea...

I've often said that it's also that "good girl/bad boy" thing...John is just that LITTLE bit dangerous, so he's exciting...you KNOW he'd never hurt you or anything, but the IDEA of the edge of danger can be quite a turn-on...

That is an EXCELLENT book. It was one of the first books I read about the Beatles; I checked it out from the library and renewed it about 4 times before finally bringing it back. I found a copy of it in an antique store a couple years ago, since it's out of print, unfortunately.

Those pictures...only one way to describe them: Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! Even though Paul's my favorite, that book sure did make John look extremely appealing to me!

I guess I'm a bit late on this whole thing...

Here are my thoughts:

"Cute" factor: Paul, Ringo, George, John

"Goregeous" factor: George, John, Paul, Ringo

"Endearing" factor: Ringo, Paul, John, George

"Damn Sexy" factor: John, George, Paul, Ringo

They're all just so wonderful!

The book is definitely worth searching for on Ebay or at a Beatlefest or in a used bookstore...it's fabulous! And not just because of the photos...

Though, as they say in The Rutles -- it was their trousers....they were very...tight... Talk about leaving nothing to the imagination!

George will always be number 1 for me!
Those deep, probing, spiritual eyes of
his showed an inner light, and added to his
good looks. They also revealed the content
of his character!

this is tough...
John was first until about 5-10 years ago and for whatever reason I started noticing how nice Paul was. Now I'm a Maccamaniac. So, I guess I'd have to arrange them in this order:
Paul & John
Ringo & George

Ringo --I could drown in his eyes and he has a wonderful sense of humor
George --I admire his spirituality. He was more attractive to me as an older man than he was in his youth.

I feel so shallow answering this, but what the hell...

I would have to say that at number 1 I'd put John. I can't really pin it down. At first, I was always attracted most to George, but then I started noticing John's features more. He had really lovely hair, and it was a beautful color- which you never really notice if you just see the Beatles in black and white. He had beautiful, sharp eyes. His skin was really lovely too, very smooth...I don't know. Maybe its the voice. But he is definitely number 1. I think it became definite after seeing that performance when the Beatles played the Royal Variety show and he was being a smartass and said that famous thing: "will the people in the cheaper seats clap your hands, the rest of you just rattle your jewelry." The look was priceless.

Also, I just kind of love John a lot. I didn't used to. It was always George or Paul until a few years ago when I realized how amazing he was. I think he was gorgeous his whole life, but you have to actually really observe to notice it, because it doesn't jump out at you, and that's true with a lot of things about John. He was even gorgeous when he was 40, although a little thin.

The following order would be: George, Ringo, and Paul. Although it seems wrong to the majority, I put Ringo ahead of Paul because he has a great deal of charm that shines through to me. I'm not really attracted to Paul, but I love him, as I love them all.
