It's a waste of time to comment on every rumour, every bit that's written in the paper. Sure sometimes what's been printed or said turns out to be truth, but a lot of things turn out not to be true. I find it a huge waste of time to pay attention to every bit that has been written and finding out what's true and what's not. I don't get this obsesion with Heather to be honest, if you look at this part of the forum she has become more famous then Paul.
That's basically how I feel; I don't buy "sources" or "close friend to the family" sort of people who would do a "hear-say" on that sort of thing. I've watched a documentary on the media and one thing really stuck out was when a nurse, who didn't have any connection at all to have a plastic-surgery having celebrity in question, told a fellow doctor that while she was in the restroom, a reporter came into the next stall and offered her loads of money to get a scoop.

I bet if we look into the bank accounts of certain people, especially her first husband (who first comes to mind, and his sister), Alfie Karmal, I'm sure he now has a couple of thousand pounds that would keep him hefty in Italian suits for a few years, or at least he runs out of money!

Exactly what I was trying to say! Thanks Legs...

& yeah, it does seem she's gotten her wish at least on Links... she is talked about here more than Paul is!

I'm sure once Paul gets out with his new album, he will be back on our focus again...at least all the Heather stuff is in one thread!

I heard at work today...she got voted off....first. I was surprised no one said anything here...can anyone confirm this for me?

Sorry...I watch the show religiously (love it!), but didn't see many people here on the Blinks discussing it, so I didn't even think to come here and report on whether or not she got voted off. She did do pretty well this week. But I still will never vote for her. ;)

Heather is still on Dancing with the Stars- in fact it's Jive/Tango week this week

I thought she did really well with the Mumbo dance, the first one was a bit off- I guess because it's the first run, nerves and all those jitters, plus it's the first round and I suppose it's some getting used to of the scheduling and rountines and stuff like that.

I suppose it's okay to post Heather's reports from DWTS here, since this is the Heather thread! ;)

Good dancer or not, why is she even on the show? Suddenly she's a "star" because she married an ex-Beatle? I acknowledge her activism on the land mines campaign, which, in itself is commendable. But, let's face it. Had she not married Paul, I doubt most of us here in this country would have known who the heck she was.

That's why I take the show title with a grain of salt.

Heather Dances With Her Little Star

By DONNA McCONNELL - Last updated at 15:41pm on 3rd April 2007

Competing in a reality TV show is a tough business, but dancing with her daughter brings Heather Mills welcome relief from the challenges she faces as a competitor on Dancing with the Stars.

Beatrice is dressed for the occasion in a pretty yellow mini-ballroom gown, the same colour as the dress her mum wore later on in the recording of the show.

Mother knows best: Heather takes the lead in dancing with her little star, daughter Beatrice, as they hang out backstage during the filming of the reality show Dancing with the Stars

The two enjoy practicing their dance exercises, using a metal railing for a ballet barre, in the backstage area of the studio lot where the popular reality show is filmed.

And Beatrice is happy to follow her mum - now a near expert dancer - who takes the lead.
The estranged wife of Sir Paul McCartney has won consistent praise for her daring and energetic dance routines on the programme with partner Jonathan Roberts. Following last week's spectacular backflip, in this week's performance, Heather did a cartwheel, and the pair were awarded joint highest score.

Mills plans cartoon about McCartneys?
Sunday, February 18 2007, 10:30 GMT

By Daniel Kilkelly

Heather Mills is planning to make a cartoon series about estranged husband Paul McCartney and his family.

According to a report in the Sunday Mirror, Heather will portray Macca as a Homer Simpson-style slob in the show - called The McFartneys. The former Beatle's children Stella, James and Mary will also appear, while Mills herself will be shown as a hard-working supermum.

A source told the newspaper: "This shows the lengths Heather Mills will go to in her attempts to blacken Paul's name. She wants it to be a cross between The Simpsons and South Park and reckons it will get cult status. She'll clearly be sadly mistaken.

"She's saying the series will expose everything that has gone on and goes on in the McCartney family, all under the guise of the cartoon characters. But most of it has been dreamed up and cast from her skewed imagination."

Itīs a few months old now, and when I did my "research" (hehe ) those days I found strange bits of truth around this article. Someone is definitely planning this cartoon, otherwise these sites wouldnīt exist.

Letīs just say: I didnīt consider her to be that stupid, if she did it. Itīll be like digging her own grave, no one will laugh about that.

Oh! I didn't know it was old news, lol.

Yeah I was a little skeptical for the same reasons as your Loka. I mean I know Heather isn't the nicest woman in the world...but she isn't THAT dumb!

She could have funingly referred to Paul's family as the McFartneys, you know how it is, without ever seriously considering doing anything more about it, just a tastless joke really, and somehow it became truth in the retelling.
