My name is D'jinni (pronounced Jenny) Christner and am a total John fanatic. I'm new to this forum, so briefly, here is my Beatles story: I have loved the Beatles since I was 2, my parents were at their last concert at Candlestick Park (I have photos from the concert that my dad took...they are among my prized possessions), and my mom met John Lennon (lucky, lucky, lucky...). I am now a mother of three and my 4 year old, in particular, is a Beatles fan. She is a Paul fanatic. She has the Beatles plush dolls from Yellow Submarine, so at night she snuggles with Paul and I get John. It is the only time I will ever sleep with John, so I'll take it. ;)
My daughter Calliope has introduced her preschool friends to The Beatles' music, so I feel quite proud of that. She also had a Yellow Submarine themed birthday party...it was a lot of fun.
I love John because he was intelligent, sardonic, artistic and (as Paul said) "deep." Oh yeah...and he was gorgeous of course.
So hello to my fellow John-lovers and Beatle fans. Nice to meet all of you!

D'Jinni, you have taught your children well just as you yourself have been taught well. I hope you'll post the Beatles' swan song concert from 1966.
I've been a Beatle fanatic since 3 and my Beatle mania has increased exponentially over time. I think young Beatle fans have such an advantage and I love stories like yours. Please tell us more about your little fans.

Well I’ve just spent the last few days scrolling though this thread and am rather sad I’ve reached the end. Maybe it should be resurrected. Although I think every picture in existence has surely been posted now?!
