Guess what? More random thoughts!
When you look at these topics, you see that they are mostly filled up with uninteresting things that are of no relevance to anyone but the poster. But every once in a while, there's something genuinely interesting posted in these threads. Maybe it's a joke, an entertaining quip, what happened to the poster that day...basically, if you ever read any of these topics and find something interesting, post it in this topic.
Please don't post new Random Thoughts in this thread--you can do that in the last thread on the list. Also, please do not discuss the Random Thoughts that are posted in this topic. We don't want the filler, we want a Readers Digest version of the above 30 Random Thoughts threads. Take out the junk, and just have the quality stuff. You may post your own stuff, as long as it was previously posted in one of those topics. We don't want new material here. Last rule, please follow the format below when posting a choice Random Thought. I'll start off with this quip from the first-ever Random Thoughts thread:
Quote:
Why is there a helicopter circling my house? Have my kids been doing something I don't know about?

I think this is a cute idea....however to pick a favorite would mean going back and reading most of them...or alot of them...or even some of them, lol. And that seems like too much work. I can barely keep up with the daily posts.
So....I randomly picked a random page on a random thread and picked my fave from there ;)

MR A: I hope they play "Buddy Holly" by Weezer at this disco.
MR B: "Buddy Holly" at a disco? Yeah right, that'll be the day.

was never a girly girl and was never into "girly" gender-biased behavior. As a child, I could not identify with or relate to "girly" girls. Even when I was little, I didn't like "girly" words and don't today:
comfy
cozy
dreamy, like a dream (the worst)
fluff, fluffy
frilly
heavenly (sounds like a hyberbole to me)
ruffly
saucy
spice; spicy
snug
toasty
I don't flounce or toss my head, either! Heck, MALES toss their heads (but never literary males) - the Beatles were champions at tossing their heads!
I like words like
active
agile
daring
decisive
determined
intelligent
intense
serious

I wanted to relive this because I thought it was a nice idea. So I found three that I REALLY liked (I actually laughed out loud). Here they are:
By Sgt.McCartney, on July 29, 2002:
"If you get cheated by the Better Business Bureau, who do you complain to?"
By Hey Beatle, on August 13, 2002:
"Why must mosquito bites itch?!"
By EasternBird on January 30, 2003:
"Myspacebarisn'tworking."
Shall we go on?
