I don't have a Beatles tattoo or any tattoo, for that matter. If I ever did get a Beatles-related tattoo, I suppose I'd get a "Sgt. Pepper" drum head somewhere. But, I'd have to imagine that the mother would hurt! It would be intricate.

Oh that's a really nice idea, Hofner! I bet that would look really nice!

I have three tattoos, but they aren't Beatle ones. Depending on where you put the tattoo can depend on how much it "hurts". I got a real small one to try it first & was like "Is that it? I thought this would hurt!" I've had more work done, obviously, which is why I say, there are moments when you think... "Ok, that hurts!", but it's not like you're in major pain the whole time. & the healing process isn't bad at all. Maybe it's different levels of pain tolerance, too? Hard to say.

Getting a tat on boney body parts (like an ankle) is more painful than a fleshier area. If its something you really love, its worth it. Make sure you research your tattoo artists and find someone who is experienced and has a clean studio.

hello hello, i'm new on this amazing forum. I have 5 tattoos on me now and for christmas my girlfriend is giving me my 6th tattoo. I don't have the final idea in my head but I will get a beatles/lennon half sleeve. I will post pics when work will be done.
