The point is you have made statements for which you now admit to not having any fundamental backup. I don't need you to do any research for me. I am simply making the point that you made statements such as “Are you aware that Paul and Heather were invited to come to Canada and pay some attention to the seal hunt?.” Or: “It is proved that a lot of seal hunt stuff still goes on illegal basis, not only in terms of quantity, but also in terms of how these "poor fishermen" still slaughter living creatures under pre-historic circumstances and then try to stay innocent hiding behind amateuristic laws. I will not say it is black and white, but there is plenty of reading material to prove that.” If you stand by these statements then my questions are: Who invited the McCartneys, what is the illegal activity that you are referring to and what "amateuristic laws" are you referring to? Additionally where might I gain access to the “reading material to prove that.”?
If you are now saying that it was HSUS or the Sea Shepherd Group who invited the McCartneys don’t you find this a tad misleading? Of course these fund raisers would invite a photo-op celebrity to fill their burgeoning coffers. The impression that you left is that an entity other than an opportunistic fund raiser invited them.
You see the tone of this discussion is almost exactly like many others on the topic. People get emotional and declare statements for which there is no foundation of honest research.

Well Dear Walter...sorrry but you got it wrong mate.
I do not wait because I have no fundamental back up , I just take some time because I have other things to do, ok? Thanks.
I will reply but you are not top on my list...it took you a few weeks to say something useful, which is mainly asking things...so I will be back

I would hope that all of you who view this debate but are not actively engaged in it, would see the folly of the ways of this person. When it comes to providing facts, the protestesters go off into their corner, unable to support the alarmist points that they put forward. Please join reasonable people in studying the seal hunt, but also the cruelty that is daily inflicted on animals of all stripes. Let's move forward in a way that puts things in perspective and does not allow the profit makers to rob innocent people of a way of life at the expense of those who oppose the multi-nationals who would annually slaughter exponentially more animals than the seal hunt will in a thousand years.

What did I get wrong?
I am not suggesting you that you are waiting. You made statements that I am asking you to confirm. You made emphatic and derogatory comments that need to be backed up. If you made these statements with solid information to back them up it shouldn't take too much time to let us know from whence they came. Is this unsubstantiated information or is it supported by solid research? It's pretty simple really.

Mister Walter, I am not "this person" , I am me and I am busy in work and even though this debate about seals went on for weeks you came up with nothing. Suddenly you come up with a lot of facts and some letter...please allow me to read all that but maybe unlike you I have also other things to do in life and to have some fun and not only to tell you what goes on in your country...ok?
If you wanna get nasty in a debate, then I am your man, but do not put me in a corner of "they" or "protestors" , because if you can read English than you can read I am not a protestor (only) ... I asked some questions ...you gave an asnwer or two... but weak simple ones, and asked us to read back all you 20+ posts, so I am happy to do that but not on your terms of agenda, so I am getting back to you... but I am not your personal answering service board, just wait, and don't try to make a scene, thanks, because that would not be a wise move.

Maybe take along here that about 98% of this forum does not even seem to care about what you write, so some respect for those who do, would be nice...

Sorry but I am still awaiting a reply to the issues that I raised. You see people who go on about the seal hunt without having done proper research do a disservice to both sides of the debate. Making statements that cannot be supported by facts is very common amongst those who oppose the seal hunt.
I am not asking you respond in short order. Take your time. The only thing that I would request is that you respond with information that is accurate.

BTW, if you would indicate what questions I have not answered I would do my best to get back to you with a response.

The seal hunt has come and gone. The poor people who gain a living from this harvest have had a good year as the world demand for pelts has caused their income to almost double from last year.
It interesting to note that when confronted with facts the anti seal hunt protesters run and hide in a corner like the participants in this depate.
Fortunately truth concurs all.

Sorry I have been a bit busy on other issues Walter and since you are only here for this 'debate' I left it for later.
It is such a relief to hear that your mates have a good year...unlike millions of other people in the world they have no other ways of making "a living" than by slaughtering seals in a 18th century way....
Since you seem back again I will finish what I was writing and post it...so sorry to keep you waiting, but the truth is not what you think it is... and that fact alone is just too sad

Let's just call it a day. I don't think you have a legitimate rebuttal and prolonging this debate serves little purpose given your reticence to deal with the facts. However if you would like to explain the 18th century comment I would be interested to hear what that is all about.

No I didn't see that one. But I did see Paul and Heather on LKL when they mentioned about Heather's life and how she had met Paul Mc Cartney.
