paul is a massive flirt
I think its just part of his nature and in a career sense a way in which he interacts with his audience. Just take a look at his yesterday performance at budokan or even more telling his preformance of hey jude on frost(its all in the eyes-lol). By the way I think John was a flirt too. But in a more manipulative way.

Re: paul is a massive flirt
I wouldn't call so much call it flirting as I would call it charm.

Re: paul is a massive flirt
Nothing wrong with a little flirting now and then. Makes it seem like there's less of a distance between you and your audience. All the best showmen I've ever seen are rather flirtatious.

Re: paul is a massive flirt
It's about to establish a kind of connection with the audience, that makes the show more enjoyable. Paul is a great entertainer, and he knows how to get to the people

Re: paul is a massive flirt
Oh he's absolutely a flirt with the audience! Everyone who's posted so far is right...it's a way of sort of getting personal with the audience. It's part of the appeal of going to his shows.

*Yes your right, all of you, Paul has the great gift of being able to make the audience feel like they are all included, he knows how to show and put on a good show, I think even in Paul's younger years he knew how to draw you in, pay attention to what was asked of him and then respond with such charm.
