Default Paul's Tour Postponed

I was all ready to see Paul in New Orleans next Thursday, but I just learned that his tour has been postponed. Doctors want him to get more rest after his virus during the Asian leg of his tour.

I sure hope Paul continues to get better, and I can't wait to see him in October!

Cheers!

If it's not the first time you've seen him, you'll know it will be worth the wait while he gets well. If it is the first time for you to see him, it'll still be worth the wait! You'll be in for the time of your life! Enjoy the show Piper!

Information direct from PaulMcCartney.com:

He has now postponed several US dates originally scheduled for June until October:

'OUT THERE' TOUR TO RESUME JULY 5 IN ALBANY

"I’m sorry but it’s going to be a few more weeks before we get rocking in America again. I’m feeling great but taking my docs' advice to take it easy for just a few more days. Look forward to seeing you all soon.” — Paul McCartney

Paul McCartney has confirmed that he will, however reluctantly, heed medical advice to rest up just a bit longer to fully recuperate from the virus that forced the postponement of his recent dates in Japan and Korea.

The 'Out There' world tour will now resume July 5 in Albany, NY, and the June 14-26 shows in Lubbock, Dallas, New Orleans, Atlanta, Jacksonville, Nashville and Louisville have been rescheduled to October. Tickets for the original June dates will be honoured for the new dates.

Thanks, Bobdude. I have seen him several times in the past, the most recent in Memphis last year. And you are so right -- it is definitely worth the wait!

I just hope Paul gets back up to speed and back to his usual energetic, healthy self.

Cheers!

I echo Piper's sentiments.

Piper, have you seen Paul in concert? You are in for such a treat!

A Paul McCartney show is always worth the wait. The first time I saw Paul in concert, I took the Greyhound to see him in a venue more than 200 miles away. Last year he finally came to my area and the show was well worth it! I saw him twice in 2009 and once in 2013. People who have had the good fortune to see Paul McCartney have had a real bonus in their lives.

Wow, that's great, BB! I saw him in Dallas in November, and in 2012 here in Houston. (Also at the Astrodome in 1993.)
I got a little teary when he did his George tribute. :')
