Default WHY GEORGE DID NOT "ATTEND" THE LAST WALTZ?

KNOWING THAT GEORGE WAS ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE ON NOV. 20 1976 IN NEW YORK AND 5 DAYS LATER THE LAST WALTZ WAS NOV. 25 IN SAN FRANCISCO, GEORGE BEING A MUSIC ADMIRER OF "THE BAND" WHY GEORGE DID NOT ATTEND? I'M NOT SAYING PERFORMING, "ATTENDING"?
IT'S BEEN MANY DECADES & DON'T CONSIDER THIS SUBJECT MATTER
"GOSSIP" MAYBE SOMEONE SHOULD SHED SOME LIGHT & ASK ERIC CLAPTON & PATTI, RINGO STARR, ROBBIE ROBERTSON, MARTIN SCORCESE, OLIVIA, RON WOOD, ETC
WHY GEORGE DISREGARDED THE BAND'S (ROBERTSON'S) FAREWELL SHOW?
I KNOW GEORGE WAS AVOIDING THE WEST COAST PARTYTIME / DRUG SCENE FROM HIS STAY WITH THE DARK HORSE /A & M /WEA BUSINESS MEETINGS IN '74. ALSO A LAWSUIT WITH RINGO OVER THE RECORDING OF "I'LL STILL LOVE YOU" DURING THAT PERIOD OF TIME (don't think that's the reason) & ERIC & PATTI ATTENDANCE (also, don't think that's the reason).
GUESS IT WAS "A SUNSHINE LIFE FOR ME" TO WHOM PLAYED ON THAT RECORDING?
Go figure?
A complete opposite of Isle Of Wight August 1969 Bob Dylan & The Band performance & Woodstock visit Nov. '68.
Gimme Some Truth,
