Re: Beatles performance on Letterman 2/9

Don't know as if I'll have the stamina to stay up for this (and all the other stuff on the show), but I'll definitely watch my DVDs!

Re: Why are you a fan of George mainly

I cast my vote for music/words. When I first became a Beatles fan, I was primarily focused on John and Paul, but George's Beatle songs started to really grow on me as I purchased more and more of...

Re: One out of three

It's great that George won for "Marwa Blues." That's always been my favourite tune on Brainwashed.

Yeah, it blows that George didn't win in the other two categories in which he was nominated, but...

Re: DVD"The Beatles First U.S. Visit "

I bought this on Wednesday and watched it for the first time ever today, so I can't compare it to the VHS version, since I never saw that, but I think it's a nice documentary. The performances are...

I went with "Radio Ga Ga" from this list. I also really like "Somebody to Love," "You're My Best Friend," and "Killer Queen," among others.

I heard about the release of these discs on Friday night, whilst driving home from church. February 24 was given as the release date. It got me very excited, needless to say, but fortunately I...

Re: Tribute for George

Watched my "Concert for George" DVD yesterday in tribute. Sometimes I still can't believe George is gone. My world is emptier without him, yet fuller for all that he gave whilst he was here.

YES!! Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

Re: Moody Blues covers Happy Xmas (war is over)

Yeah, I heard about the Moody Blues covering this song the other day. I would imagine that John and Yoko's version cannot be topped in my mind, but I like the Moody Blues a great deal as well.

Re: Fav. Fleetwood Mac album/cd

Definitely a toss up between the self-titled one from '75 and Rumours. Both excellent discs. The greatest hits one from '88 is also good.

Re: Top Ten Rock and Roll Films Ever

Glad to see the Fabs in their rightful place!

I've also watched numbers 2, 4, 6, and 8, and enjoyed them all. Haven't seen the others.

I think Monterey Pop might have been good to include...

Re: Ooooh!! I HATE that part!!

I wouldn't say there are any portions of Beatles songs that I hate, but I've never cared too much for "Dizzy Miss Lizzie," and I don't know why, because John is really rocking on that one.

I love...
