I've got the Badfinger album "No Dice" (a great album incidently) and I couldn't help but notice the similarities between them and the Beatles. Not just in their song style, but Pete Ham and Joey...

Re: Happiness Is A Warm Gun

The brilliance of this song lies in its metephors, "the man in the crowd with the multi-coloured mirrors on his hobnail boots"...is this a peeping tom? "Lying with his eyes while his hands are busy...

Re: Holy Grail of All Things Beatle

Gee, I thought for sure one of you would have said Pauls' 500/1 hofner beatle bass. It seems to be the ultimate symbol for the Beatles, and I'm guessing is worth more than any Beatles album or lyric...

What would you have for a musical line-up of say 8 bands to play an outdoor festival. They can be any bands you want, still together or not, and or solo performers? And tell me your band play list...

Re: I\'m so tired

The Great Beatlebate V

In your own opinion should the 3 beatles have stood up to John and not allowed Yoko to "set up bed" and hang around in the studio during the later years. Consider the point that no one was really...

Re: I\'m so tired

In your own opinion, what is the masterpeice song from each Beatle/ former Beatle. Since almost inevitably most people would be forced to pick a ballad, you can pick one ballad and one rocker for...
