Price Guide for the Beatles American Records (6th Edition) by Perry Cox
Does anybody have a copy of this book? If so can you say here? I'd like to check something. :)

I do.

Awesome! Does the Introducing the Beatles section have photos of some of the labels?

I will check in a few mins.I am pretty sure it does, but I also have Bruce Spizer's Vee Jay book, so if it's not in the price guide it should be in that.

Just checked the price guide, plenty of labels, which one you looking for?

I emailed a couple of photos of labels to Perry for an as-of-then unconfirmed label variation on a copy of Introducing the Beatles. He said at the time he'd give me a credit in the book for discovering it and I'm just curious now whether he has or not. :P

I checked the thank you's section, (I was looking for Harbidge, which I always assumed was your last name?) but did not see it. I guess you can pm me your last name if it is different and I'll check again. How long ago did you send that email? And which label did you discover?

I sent the email a few years ago now and he asked me to confirm my name for it. I can't remember exactly which one - I *think* it was a stereo version 2 with oval logo, but can't give more detail unfortunately.

there is a listing for a version 2 with oval logos on 45 rpm sized labels used on the l.p., apparently they ran out of 33 sized labels and had to use 45 size labels. But at the end of the listing there is a note that says: "There are no confirmed copies of a stereo version two disc with a regular size rainbow album label with the oval logo".

Hope that helps.

I *think* this was the label variation:

Yeah side 1 is there, bottom of page 127 in case you ever get hands on a copy of the book. You should email Perry again and ask if maybe he forgot to include you.
