George & His Many Talents:

son's beautiful face in 1965? He has that French intensity in his Harold Sr. eyes and that thick, wavy hair courtesy of Harold Sr.! The man was just too fine! SHeAMAN - Good one! :laugh4: |
That second one, he looks so cute and so adorable. :heart1:

That reminded me of the old Reese's commercial: "You got peanut butter on my chocolate!" "Well, you got chocolate in my peanut butter!" |
I remember reading, maybe in the Anthology book, that George was disappointed when meeting the Supremes, because they were such goody-two-shoes or some such thing.
|
Not really. According to fellow Supreme Mary, Diana would walk over anybody, sleep with anybody to reach her goals. She has been described as a ruthless barracuda.

But really, how wild can you get when your hair is that high? ![]() |
Doesn't matter--George did 'em all anyways. Actually I like to think that is how he started going down the holy road in the first place: One Supreme being to the next...
|
Our George was no bigot. Another reason to love that boy with the Louise French intensity.
|
Itīs still a total disgrace how you people, talk about George but no doubt this moderator will delete again this post because she also enjoys the īfunī how George is remembered.

I also thought you saw the fun aspect of George and not everything as all grim and dour. *added in* It's a disgrace to say the man was no bigot? That is not how Harold Sr. and Louise raised him! George's sister Lou has been quoted as saying that she and her siblings were taught not to have a sense of entitlement and not to abase themselves either. Treat folks equally. My other favorite Beatle Paul is quoted as having told his children the same thing.*end of editI |
Ain't he fine!
![]() I'm Happy Just to Dance With You ![]() Just to dance with you, OH, OH! ![]() Don't mess with George 'cause he don't play! ![]() Louise French guest starred on her son's beautiful face. His eyes had her ubiquitous intensity. The man was just too damn fine! George: Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. ![]() |
I look at things on Internet about George BB and from what I see the only place George is brought in to this girlie naughty atumn feelings is here where all other websites show respect and other views than sex and wowen, but that is a choise here taken at Links, be it yours for you satisfaction.
|
Autumn feelings and girlie are sexist remarks. I thought you were better than that! That is not the kind of thing George would say. We all thought you said you were through posting on this thread.
|
FP, people here are not hating on George. They are loving him in their own ways. Look at how silly Legs Larry Smith could be. George loved silly. Look at Python. What if Python never included one naughty joke? You see George as way more 'serious' than I do.
On the subject of women, in an interview George was asked about the song "Beautiful Girl" and he said, "I see all around me beautiful girls.. ones who look good..." and he giggles ... and the interviewer says "that's natural" ... George responds, "it is..." Then George adds, "And also ones who don't particularly look good, but have such beauty within..." I thought that was very sweet... |

Okay if that makes you want to remember him as a womaziner and slut, you have no idea of life because these things conme around all the time in social life.
To condem George to what is being said here is just sad but is being repeated all te time and allowed, well beware of darkness, it can it you. |

So bye bye Links, have fun disgrading George. |
I think George would laugh his butt off at this thread. Good lord, he appeared in the Rutles and they portrayed him as an Indian stewardess at the end. I think that would be more offensive because it was a parody of his faith/beliefs, than something more "human" like him being a slut.

In "Here Comes the Sun" it was mentioned that George was not happy with himself that he could not committ totally to the way of life of his gurus/beliefs, in that they believed sex was only for procreation and that they should all live together, two things George could never bring himself to do. So he probably punished himself quite enough for his sexual life...

This thread has turned into nothing more than a gossip column by about 4 people who sound like little kids giggling in the back of a class room during a sex education class.
|
This thread was reopened with the understanding we'd respect one another and not name call. The point of the discussion was to address the *topic*... not each other.
