I have mentioned before that I was busy looking for the best sound regarding the Beatles music. Many hours spend on searching for that Dr. Ebbet's title, a needle drop by someone. Comparing the MFSL versions to other versions.

But I think with the remasters that search is over. I still prefer a Dr. Ebbet's title here and there, but I am not going to spend time anymore searching for yet another version.

I also mentioned the loudness war,
and while the volume has...

No Beatles

I know this is in my Beatles section so it contradicts the title of the topic somewhat, but hey it's my blog.

Just returned from a holiday.
Visited family in Serbia, relaxing a bit at the pool, swimming, walking and all that supposedly healthy stuff. To balance the healthy activity we had lots of unhealthy fat food. But that was not the point of this topic. Prior to my vacation I had my mp3 player loaded up with all Beatle music, apart from some other English or at least...

Good on Ringo

Technology has come a long way since, and you notice the diference when listening to the Capitol album sets. However while I think that the sound on an compilation like 1 is excelent, there are those who don't think it is and EMI might...

Searching for the best sound

I finally given up, I might as well just go listen to the poor 1987 cd's cause they sound fine to my ears.

I've been searching for the best posible vinyl releases of the Beatle albums, german "Magical Mystery Tour"? I have it, a mfsl copy of "Abbey Road"? It's also in my collection. But I've been reading to many forums lately and it seems that there are many different versions of that german copy or MFSL Abbey road. You got to look at the matrix, one with 1A or...
