Some very short comments on some important recent events.
Íngrid Betancourt rescued.
Finally after all these years, one can't imagine what she has been through. I am happy for her and her family.
Karadzic arrested
Finally after all these years.
Hoppefully it will speed up reconciliation between the different people of Bosnia, and an opening for a better future for both the people in Bosnia and Serbia.

I also was relieved to hear about the release of Ingrid Betancourt, although somewhere I wonder if many people knew about her before the rescue operation?
Karadzic - yes certainly a historic event. Ofcourse there are even protests about it...that is all understandable I think. We can all have our opinion about who is wrong or right but I am glad he is now found and taken in and hopefully will be brought to court here in Holland. Justice no doubt will be done. People can and will be found eventually. That shows again in this case. |
