Look at what I found

This whimsical print features John Lennon's drawings of stylized animals on a light blue, white, and yellow background. Featuring delightfully imaginative pictures of elephants, giraffes, lions, and palm trees in soft greens, pinks, oranges, and lilacs, this charming print virtually guarantees sweet dreams.

I want to get baby agaiiiiin http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry4.gif

Eheh, well... beside that, I was wondering if someone knew who gave the permission for that, and where the money goes... anyway, it's a cute thing, Johnny lived for his babies (he lived for Sean) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Susan gave me the yellow picture frame for Christmas one year. Looks like I know where to register for other things when I'm ready for a child.

Amalthea, I'd assume Yoko gave permission for John's work to be used, but I have no idea if the money goes to his estate or some charity.

I think I saw some of these things in a Beatlefest catalog, so you might want to try there also.

So, you can only buy baby stuff if you have a baby or giving it to a baby????? Nah! Go for it! You can always wrap the baby blanket around the teddy bear.

Oh, they sell 'em all over the place. I've bought stuff from the line at J.C. Penney and Kohl's over the years. I don't know what John would have thought of this, but the stuff really IS darn cute.

Oh wow, my son has had some of the clothes, and his VERY favorite toy is the stuffed bunny rabbit (which, I am embarrassed to admit, I immediately named "Winston O'Bunny" -- yeah, you can all groan now...) that he is never without...I don't know that John would mind too much, he loved his son and I think it'd make him happy to think that the designs he created with so much love for his baby are keeping other people's babies warm and safe and happy...

I didn't mean to imply that I thought John would have been against using his designs in this way. I just meant I would have liked to see what his reaction would be! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Oh, and I have the stuffed rhino....so cute!

Oh, Rell, I wasn't disagreeing with you -- rather, I was saying that I didn't think he'd mind. I agree, it'd be interesting to know his reaction!

Yeah, those stuffed toys are adorable...goodness knows Jamie loves his!! I like the sheets and receiving blankets too. They used to have the designs on clothes for toddlers in addition to just the layette, but now they seem to have discontinued everything except the layette line.

I actually have a beautiful denim diaper bag with Lennon designs -- only I've never used it as a diaper bag! It's really nice, denim, lots of compartments -- and the perfect size for a carry-on or tote on a trip! So I use it for ME! You can find the Lennon designs at the Carter's outlet stores too -- I got a few things there, like the snow globe that plays "Imagine," that diaper bag, and the resin picture frames, along with a "Mom's Brag Book" for photos. It's all pretty nice stuff, high quality -- and just made for Beatle-mad mommies like me...http://65.200.23.220/ubb/smilies/wink1.gif

I've seen the clothes and other things over the years as well. I bought some things for my baby cousin; I think it was a receiving blanket and a 1-z. Those clothes are sooooo cute! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/teeth1.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/yeah.gif

Those things are so precious! I've never seen anything sweeter! Maybe it's just because I'm excited to become a mom someday. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif
