Hi guys,
I would have told you all about it sooner but I had the flu, so I had to stay tucked up in bed drinking Lemsip and watching Beatles videos!!! This is my best cure for the flu and yes it works!
Anyway the talk went really well, the kids loved it. They couldn't believe just how popular the Beatles are! They loved looking at all my memorabilia and stuff. They've got a really big display up in their class room with pictures of John and The Beatles. I added to it my signed Pete Best picture of the Beatles in the Cavern, for them to borrow! They did want my leaf that I got from Mendips but I couldn't part with that!
Ive turned them all into Beatles fans now!
The best bit is I now get fan mail!
which I am writing back to at the moment!
with love from me to you

I'd love to do a talk about the Beatles at a primary school. But knowing me I'd probably keep going off on the collecting and Paul is Dead aspects. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

Biglou114: I'd like to hear more on that project and just *how* it got you into the beatles and John. What was it about him that just caught your attention?
For me, it wasn't a project, but it was something to do with school. A girl in my Shakespeare class is always refrencing John and the beatles. It was amazing to me how she always could liken things to a verse in one of their songs, so I asked about them and she lent me the beatles 1 cd and ever since then, well, you get the picture.
