We all know about Paul's last meeting with John, but when was George's?

------------------
This week, Paul McCartney's new album, Driving Rain, is at number sixty-five on the USA charts.

This post is dedicated to the memory of George Harrison.

Good question. I believe I read once that at the time of John's death he was a bit angry and hurt with George that his book I Me Mine had slighted his contribution to George's career and that had not yet been resolved.

I think it is wonderful that Paul and Ringo were able to see George one last time before he died. The problem with John's death is that it happened so quickly that he couldn't make peace with his former mates. One of the things I often think about is that John never had the opportunity to really renew his friendship with the others. In recent years Paul, George, and Ringo were able to get together periodically and just hang out and reminisce. I'm sorry John missed out on that.

Yes when I watched the Anthology TV shows,it was so wonderful to see the guys getting along and hugging and swapping stories.
A lot of pain thru the 70's took some time to heal.....
and yes,it was too sad that John missed all that....for now,anyway.......

As some very wise people once sang, "Life is very short, and there's no time for fussing and fighting, my friend." I guess we all should try to make up with our loved ones after we get angry with them, for you never know what can happen. It's easier to say than do, though.

John did not miss out on the Anthology. He was definitely there, in spirit.
