Regarding the demo's John sang on;

There is the version which is close to the original Ringo song.

Then there is one which is has the lin-up, but it is far from original whereas George only does guitar backing.

Now I found one, which has John only on piano. It is a very early version cause he does not seem to find the right chords on the piano and seems to play with two fingers.
Also there are otherlyrics.
Do you know this one?

I knew John had done a demo of this song, but I've never heard it.

There"s also a demo of "I'm the greatest" on the Lennon Anthology box set. Sounds about half-way between an early demo and the completed track. Sounds like the second version FPSHOT described above...

The Lennon Antholgy also has John doing Ringo's "Only you" (same backing track as for the completed version) and "Goodnight Vienna" (same stage of developement as "ITG").

There is also a bootleg version of a John demo (voice & piano only) available on certain bootlegs...

Does anyone know if there are suche Ringo-song demos by Paul or George (apart from "It don't come easy" & "I'll still love you" ?

We've currently lost our satellite to Audiogalaxy. I might just go back there and re-d/l it.

OK I will leave it in my shared files.

If you want Horse to the water, I filed it as FPSHOT - November song.

As for the George ones, don't believe there are any others. I checked some bootleg overviews, nothing there.
