Hi all,

1st question about "S.F."-- Does anyone know
if the mellotron sound in the introduction
to this song was performed on one of the 1st
ever mellotrons made?..

2nd question: Today as I was doing some
food shopping, I came across the yogurt
section where I saw "Stonyfield Farm" nonfat
yogurt--(Strawberry flavor). There's a brown
cow wearing bright red, heart shaped glasses
that seemed to say in my mind, "Strawberry
Fields forever"... does anyone possibly know
if indeed the song "S.F." was the inspiration
for this yogurt's artwork?.. hmm...

I was also grocery shopping today and I was looking for that same yogurt. It's "Strawberry Fields" yogurt by Stonyfield Farm. I couldn't find that flavor anywhere. They had raspberry I know that. Maybe the song could be the inspiration for the artwork.
I'm not sure if "SFF"'s mellotron was performed on one of the first mellotrons or not.

It was one of the first,as the Mellotron didn't come around intill '66. In fact,it is in a way the father of the Moog Synthesizer.
