Has anyone seen John's Behind the music. I saw it for the fifth time last night and I still cried at the end.

" Are you a mod or a rocker?"
" No I'm a mocker."

" Go to the window... Go to the window."

"Oh won't you please, please help me!"-Fred

I actually just saw that for the first time last night; just happened to find it while channel surfing. Very good, but very very depressing....I was living in Germany at the time he died and didn't get to take part in any of the gatherings. I felt SO isolated from what was going on back then. I still choke up when I watch footage from the various memorials.....

I love it, but can't watch it again. I cry everytime, too!!! 8Dec80 altered my life DRASTICALLY! It still hurts so much.

Yeah, I watched it last night too. I taped it quite a while back when they first aired it. It's soooo sad everytime I watch it ..... I keep expecting myself to be able to hold the tears in, but noooooooooo, not me! Boooooohooooo!!! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry2.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry3.gif

I've seen the JL Behind the Music about two to three times. It still makes me sad to watch it...but it was good. They go into so much detail about his death...it hurts so bad. Poor John... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

Ooooh you have to send it to me!! It came on over here once on this channel I don't get and my friend was meant to record it but no no no she taped the wrong channel and I got some cooking show instead. Talk about upsetting.

I've seen that Behind the Music at least two times, and I find the last half hour or so VERY difficult to watch...Every time I think I can handle it and not get all upset, I see something like that program and it all hits me again and I fall apart...

I don't think I'll EVER completely get over John's death, I guess...even after more than 20 years, it's definitely a raw nerve and a huge void...

I taped it, but I've never been able to see it again... It made me very sad. For the very same reason I cried when I heard "Grow Old With Me" on the Anthology boxed set. But now the tears were of admiration of such geniality. I prefer to remember John the musician, that's why I don't watch that special anymore... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry.gif

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who gets all emotional watching that. I watched it maybe twice with my mum and she cried too but she cries at anything so it was much of a comparison.

Since we don't actually receive that channel, would the cost of postage and replacement of the blank cassette cause you to consider adding us to your mailing list??? Pretty please???
