My friend really thinx paul should have married jane asher. Jane certainly had a lot going for her, and she couldnt be considered a groupie.

so in the end my question is
should paul have married
jane instead of linda?

jane and Paul broke up because I think she was too into her own career and didn't want to give it up for Paul's Beatle status. And there was also walking in on Paul with another woman. I don't think Jane and Paul would have married.

no not at all, i think they were to different! like you said, she was to in to her career, she wouldn't take second place to paul's career, she had to be the one on top.

It did seem that Paul really loved Linda though. I've never seen a happier celebrity couple. It was a devastating blow for everyone when she died, but, being Paul, he's maintained his love for her and continued with a happy, productive life. I hope Heather gives him all the love that Linda did.

Jane Asher should be a roll model for women. In an era when women were supposed to be secondary to their man, she refused to do that and stood on her own two feet. Most women probably would have given up their career for Paul, and I think she deserves credit for being her own person.

Anyway, clearly Paul and Linda were in love, and therefore it was the right thing that they married and spent their lives together.

Who are we to say who should marry and who should not? In the end, Paul married who he loved. Who would I be to object?
