Heather 'plans pop career'

MACCA'S wife Heather Mills has had a recording studio built at their new seafront home - for HERSELF.

Heather, 34, is "keen to explore the possibilities of a pop career", say pals.

But she has further angered Sir Paul McCartney's daughters. Stella and Mary have privately hit out at the ex-model, saying she is copying their late mum Linda.

A pal of Heather said: "She has written her own songs and took control of the studio's design."

Linda was with Sir Paul's band Wings and started a range of vegetarian meals for shops. Heather has plans for a vegetarian cookbook.

She and Macca are spending £100,000 on work to their new £1 million home in Brighton, Sussex.

Her pal added: "People will think she's using Paul's success. It's been said before. But she seems to be paying little attention to the criticism."

Pardon me if I say I am skeptical about this report because it is from News of the World...I'd like to hear further before I judge...

But thanks for posting, Harb! images/icons/wink.gif

graemlins/afraid1.gif * Oh lord, this could be VERY frightening if it does come about...though there's been a lot of other rumors that haven't come true.

Thanks for the post, though, Harb!

And Denny could move in and they'd have Wings Two!

I think it's a rumor, don't listen to the Devil's Radio. Remember the song. Heather has her charity to be busy with.

Pop goes the weasel?

This can't be true...

People accuse her of trying to be like Linda? I say if Paul gives her a tambourine and sticks her on stage THEN, and only then, can she be accused of "being like Linda".

No one can replace, or be Linda, regardless...

After convincing Paul to try and change song credits to "McCartney/Lennon," I wouldn't put it behind Ol' Peggykins.

I wouldn't listen to her stuff, though. I think someone needs to hit her over the head with her prosthetic.

And for goodness sake, can't people leave Linda alone already?

Karla<font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">Karla, you don't have to like Heather, but please don't suggest someone attack her. It's in poor taste, especially since Paul's daughter Mary was mugged last year.

I agree...Karla, I admit that I don't particularly like Heather either, but I try very hard not to make ugly comments about her publicly because it really bothers other people.

That said, I also would NEVER make any comments about her prosthetic leg...THAT is certainly not a reason to dislike her! How would you feel if you were a 25 year old woman who had to face the rest of your life with only one of of your legs?

It's okay if you don't care for her, but would you please try not to be so nasty when you say so in future?

First things first - we're talking about the worst tabloid in UK, the News of The World...

But, sorry folks, I can't help it: graemlins/laugh6.gif

Karla,

I am really tired of your ugly comments about prosthetic limbs. My uncle lost a leg the summer of 2000 and when I see comments like this, I wonder if you have any idea of just how offensive this kind of thing is to other people.

You aren't REQUIRED to like Heather, but we must insist that you at least show some courtesy and respect when you post.

Oh no! I can't stand it. Do they have a show like "American Idol" in UK? Maybe she can try out for their idol.

Wow.

When I read the replies to my message, I was angry at first. Thoughts rushed to my head like "This is just like when John made one comment about Jesus and everybody went crazy taking him seriously." And then I remembered something.

John did word himself wrong, but he apologized. And so all of you have my humble apology as well, and I realize I was pretty harsh there.

Apology accepted, Karla. Perhaps now it'll be "Just Like Starting Over."

Krla <font size="2" face="Tahoma, Arial, sans-serif">First of all, I think that everyone here likes Linda; some of us flat out loved her; she was a wonderful woman. No one is personally attacking her, as you did to Heather.
I adore John, as everyone knows, but if he were to have a go at, say, tap-dancing, I would be the first one to make a comment about his ineptitude in that area. He was the sweetest man, but he had two left feet, bless his heart. That doesn't make me love him any less, but it doesn't make the idea of his embarking on an amusingly innapropriate career less funny, either.
No personal attacks please-- they are not funny and this one is particularly mean, IMO.

I'm not a huge fan of Heather at all - I've never seen her "modelling" anywhere except at Paul's side and I find it convenient that, all of a sudden, there she is, married to Paul, with an autobiography out, sitting on talk shows... and now she wants to start singing. However I don't know her and I suppose she's done something right for Paul to marry her.

I can actually see this progressing to a sort of partnership a la John and Yoko, except Paul and Heather. Next thing you know there will be a Double Fantasy-esque album; they're already advocating against landmines together, just like John and Yoko doing their bed-ins for peace back in the late 60's... . Oh but that's just the conspiracy theorist side of me coming out now... . images/icons/wink.gif

Thank you for your apology, Karla...let's hope we can keep the personal attacks to a minimum!

As for people being "way too easily offended around here," Prelly -- well, if you think that making vicious comments about peoples' disabilities is acceptable, perhaps you are just not a terribly sensitive individual...which seems pretty clear from the nature of your post. I sincerely hope that you never experience (or have anyone close to you experience) any kind of disabling injury or illness.

No need for me to make more comments about rudeness, so I'll go back to the topic.
I believe Heather has said that this is a rumor. If for some reason this is true, then perhaps Paul has been an influence of some sort? I mean, she wasn't a pop music fan before she met Paul. If she has talent and wants to record, I say go ahead. If she's not talented, then the record won't sell, will it?

lol, its not that im not sensetive, its just i think some things that arent MEANT to be mean are made to be mean by some people. And I have had horrible things happen to me involving discrimination of things i cant help. When I lived in susanville, a little hick town I was dragged by a rope across a dirt road because of my race, (black/white)chained to a fence in the snow, and Ive had so many mean comments about my sexuality I cant even count...

But anyho... all im saying is that, sometimes people make comments really just trying to be funny.. and I try not to get offended easy by them.. even when theyre comments that are suppose to be 'funny'are geared towards me. I just think people today are too politcally correct and too sensetive. I mean not to offened no one. Sorry.

maybe macca gave heather the idea. if not, i think hanging around paul for so long might be some sort of inspiration?...

but to tell the truth, i don't know if she could do it. well, that is.
