Let It Be Reissue - Cover Released To Public

I just saw this today, and I didn't see a topic about it yet. The reissue of 'Let It Be' is set for sometime early next year. They already have the cover ready to go, and I thought you might like to see it...

Looks like I'm the only one who didn't really care for it. Maybe it's because I don't like MJ, or maybe it's cuz I'm a mom, but it just kind of bothered me. I do think the idea of superimposing images on famous pics is overall pretty neat, except in this case.

What is going on with the Let-It-Be re-issue though. I'm ashamed to admit, but this is the first I've ever heard of such a tantalizing wonderful thing.

Apparantly, Paul has mentioned several times in interviews during his "Driving Rain/Back in the U.S." tour that the next Beatles project Apple is going to do is a "non-Spectorized" version of the Let It Be-album, accompanied by the long-awaited release of the DVD of "Let It Be" with extra material.

The picture of the 1969 and 1963-Beatles together on the EMI staircase was first put together by Apple as a promotion for the Red and Blue CD's back in 1993. It also adorns a promo CD for these compilations.
