Don't know if anyone's inerested in this, but they recently posted the transcript of Sean's conversation with the shock jock on his website intothesunn2001.com. Here's the link in case anyone wants to read it.

Poor Sean seems put on the spot, but I think he needs to watch his mouth a bit.

I enjoyed the interview (thanks for the link!), and it made me laugh a few times...like when Howard said this while they were waiting for Sean to come on: "Howard: Meanwhile… Julian Lennon is at his job at McDonald’s. (everyone laughs)" Don't get me wrong...I love Julian, this comment just made me laugh. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/teeth1.gif

Howard Stern...the guy is such a blatant hypocrite and ass-kisser, but he does put on an interesting show (at times). The thing is...never take what he says seriously. Always with a grain of salt. Julian was on his show and he was telling Jules how much he loves his music and blah, blah, blah. Its such a bunch of phoniness. I dislike people like that. Just give me the truth.

I can't stand Howard, and Robin's no better. They're both so snide and rude to everyone, it's disgusting. Occasional sarcasm is acceptable to me, but not constantly!. Poor Sean, they just mocked and dissed him so badly. To be honest, had I known he'd been on I would have watched 'cuz I've never heard Sean's voice before, as an adult. Even though it would have been like a bad car accident. You can't help but not look. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/shakehead1.gif Poor Sean..poor foul-mouthed Sean. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/wink3.gif

I don't think Sean was actually physically on Magill. He was on the phone with Howard, because some dude apparently informed Howard that Sean was at his house with his girlfriend (or fiance)...who would be that one chick that is always in pictures with him.

So you wouldn't actually see Sean on the show anyway. I don't feel sorry for Sean. I don't think Sean cares either way. Howard Stern is the one who needs the people more than they need him. And Howard Stern acts like a low-grade bigot have the time. I hate to say that, but he's very...not my kind of person.

I know, Scruffie. I just haven't heard Sean's voice in a lonnng time. It sounds like this impromptu phone interview was aired, with all the bleeping going on.

I can't stand Howard Stern http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/thumbsdown.gif and I intensely dislike Robin for the birds http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/thumbsdown.gif and his parade of boob-baring women, but when he has a guest on that I really like such as Paul or Sean, I'll endure him.

Yeah, he had Paul on earlier this year, and I caught the show, not only on E! but on the radio as well. He did his best to rattle Paul and make him say something he would be sorry for later, but Paul did fine and stood up to it. He said, "No comment," or something to that effect a couple of times, and generally handled himself well despite Stern's needling.

On WinMX there is an MP3 of when Paul was on there last year to promote his album. I'm not a big Howard fan but that interview was great! By far the most amusing Paul interview I've ever listened to. I was a little afraid for Paul when i heard he was going to be on there, but Howard really SMMOOOOCHED Paul's ass. Ringo's appearance from last last year is pretty funny too. You can tell Ringo just wanted to smack all of them upside the head.

Yeah, I thought he went pretty easy on him, for HOWARD--but he tried a couple things, asking him about Yoko, and I think Michael Jackson, not sure about that one...but Paul fielded each question deftly. I remember Howard started getting into sexual territory, and Paul just kind of let those questions go by with an offhand remark and a refusal to discuss it. Howard, surprisingly, did not insist...for him, that is MAJOR ass-kissing!

I just give Howard credit, that he says what he wants to say. Some of his points are valid, no matter how bluntly he may say them. I am not really into Robin or any of the rest of his cronies, I think they just latch on. But I don't like his objectivity of women...but I'm glad he showed respect for Paul.

Hmmm..How did that go? I could just see Howard saying something stupid like, "You were the 'lucky' Beatle, weren't you?" Did Paul & Ringo appear on the show or was it via telephone?

Glad you guys were somewhat able to enjoy this interview! I was going to post it once I had it transcribed, but remembered there weren't too many Howard fans on here and didn't wanna start any hooopla. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/angel5.gif

Hey Magill, I'd be more than happy to burn you a copy of the interview. Let me know!

Don't let the shortage of Stern fans stop you from posting his interviews with a Beatle person--and don't worry about whether people will not agree with you...sure, we do not always not agree, but the resulting discussions can be quite stimulating!
