By fluke I had the chance to see an exhibition of Linda McCartney photography in Ratzeburg (Northern Germany) when I was on holiday last week. Only some 30 pictures were shown at the Barlach Museum Ratzeburg.
There were kind of nice early sixty star pics showing Hendrix, The Who, the Stones, Simon and Garfunkel and, of course, the Beatles. Then some real beautiful "roadwork" photographs, mostly shot through car windows - great stuff. And some more experimental stuff, all very nice.

Very cool, Rocky!
I love her photos & it would be great to see them on display some place! Too bad I'm not in Northern Germany this year! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/sad3.gif

I've been meaning to pick up "Sixties", I think it's still in print..and get ahold of some used ones that are out of print. She was an amazing photographer, wasn't she? Certainly puts Yoko's work to shame! (Referring to that ghastly picture of John's bloody glasses)blah!

I have a few of Linda's books or MPL's calendars from the 70s! I LOVE to collect Linda's photography!
Keep looking! You never know when you may find her work out there!

I've been fortunate enough to see both the Sixties exhibit and the Roadworks exhibit. Both were good, but of course, I prefered the Sixties one with its Beatle/Rock pictures. I still see the Sixties book in bookstores often. Its a great book, if anyone hasn't seen it they should give it a try.

Do you wear wigs?
John: If we do they must be the only ones with real dandruff.
