This past Saturday, at my college, there was a concert called Beatlemania: Get Back! The concert was great--but the atmosphere was just so awkward...I'm sure the musicians who imitated the Beatles (especially George) felt the same way.
Over this past weekend, the oldies radio station played Beatles/George songs *all* weekend. I had to constantly remind myself *why* they were doing this. I still can't grasp that half of the greatest band is gone....
I wonder how George Martin feels. Here he is about 75 years old and two of his dear friends have passed on.
