i can't remember on which post i read about the soundtrack to the new sean penn movie, "i am sam," but i want to know more about it.
the article the post linked to said that rufus wainwright, aimmee mann, and the black crowes were doing beatles covers for the soundtrack. how cool is that? also, the tagline for the movie is "all you need is love" and the trailor has a scene of them all crossing a zebra crossing like abbey road. it also has someone doing "two of us" at the end of the trailor. not a bad version, but couldn't tell who it was.
i can't find anything else about the soundtrack--anyone know who's singing what, etc?
