Actually I checked it out and I think you have to pay for it, I'm an extremely poor 19 year old student, so it's out of the question!
I got an ezboard one instead, cheap and cheerful.

I just saw this post. At the bottom of the page is a link to where we got the board. We did have to pay for it, but it's really nice - as you all can see!

There was a time when the UBB was free, about 3 years ago. They do have a freeware version, but it has basically no features, and is really meant to be just a test so that you can determine whether the UBB can run on your server. Now if you know anything about Perl code, you can of course hack the heck out of the script and make it behave like the licensed version, but I digress.
