Check this out gang:
McCartney chooses team for next album
(Launch) - The word out of London is that Paul McCartney is going modern on his next album, at least in his choice of producer. McCartney has reportedly tapped David Kahne, who in recent years has worked with bands such as Sugar Ray and Sublime. Longtime Beatles and McCartney studio hand Geoff Emerick will also be on board to engineer the recording, which is slated to take place in the near future at the former A&M Studios in Hollywood. Kahne apparently had to battle his superiors at Warner Bros. Records, where he's a vice president of A&R, for permission to work on McCartney's album, since it will be released on Capitol Records. There are reports that McCartney agreed to contribute a song to an upcoming Warner Bros. soundtrack project in return. The new album will be McCartney's first release of all-new material since 1997's "Flaming Pie," although he did have three new songs amid the '50s and '60s covers on 1999's "Run Devil Run."

What do you think that means? What do you expect from Paul's new album?
I can't wait. We could eventually have releases by George (his commented "Volume One") and Paul this year. Yeah, yeah, yeah! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif
(Of course, it would be much better if they bring them to Chile http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif)

"Wingspan" is due to releasing in May this year. It will be a 2-CD set containing 40 songs, accompanied by a TV docummentary (which I'm sure will not be shown here in Chile http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif, because we're SO far away!). Check out http://www.best.com/abbeyrd/~fabnews.htm for more information.
And as from Paul's album with new songs, I still here the same: it's coming soon... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Apparently the new album will be titled "BLUE SKY". "Malibu Sunset", "I'm Not Alone Anymore", "Dance With Me", "Once Upon A Beatle" (!) and "Ladies Men (duet with Elton John)" are songs already recorded. Paul recorded at least 3 more songs on december 8th. The three songs are ballads and were recorded with an orchestra. Paul promised they would appear on the next album.

Believe it or not, we don't call that 'chili'. Our word for 'chili' is 'ají'. That's why I wasn't familiarized with the concept.

He wouldn't go near Springsteen, at least not in a co-songwriting sense. Even all though, he's melodically more gifted, when it came to lyrics Springsteen would run circles round him.
A deep Springsteen narrative lyric coupled with a Mccartney melody could be interesting conceivably. However, these things don't always work out Paul co-wrote a song with Peter Gabriel in 1986 "The Politics Of Love" and it couldn't have been much kop or they'd have released it.

Hey Dominic ! Whre did you receive your information regarding the tracks from the upcoming Blue Sky Mccartney album ?
None of the major Beatle news sites have any information about them, and i wonderd how you came by the track titles.
Just Curious!

Hasn't September been mooted ? So, we could conceivably get a single around August.
Latest news is that he's goin' to "polish it up" after the Wingspan promotion is over. He's revealed he's recorded 18 tracks with David Kahne.
