The 22-year-old son of George Harrison escaped serious injury after crashing his sports car.
Dhani Harrison is said to have crashed his 150mph Audi S3 in Oxfordshire causing £4,000 damage, just three weeks after taking delivery of the £25,000 vehicle, The Sun said.
Only last week he watched proceedings at Oxford Crown Court during the trial of 34-year-old Michael Abram who was accused of attempting to murder his 57-year-old father and mother Olivia.
Abram, of Huyton, Merseyside, was ordered to be detained in a psychiatric hospital indefinitely by the trial judge after he heard how the mentally-ill defendant broke into the family's Henley-on-Thames mansion last year and repeatedly stabbed George Harrison.
Last Wednesday, on the steps of Oxford Crown Court, Dhani said: "We shall never forget that he was full of hatred and violence when he came into our home. The prospect of him being released into society is abhorrent to us."
Damage to his Audi was said to be a ruined right wing and burst tyres.
The Sun quoted an expert who surveyed the wreckage as saying: "It had a right wallop."
