http://www.geocities.com/steffieweffie/nbcfilm.jpg (I don't think he looks like him. They should have used the guy from BackBeat. But I saw previews of the making of this movie and it appears that he has the stuff to play him.)

Some info from the set of the TV movie, still being shot in Liverpool:
First, we've reported elsewhere that Phillip McQuillan, who plays John, performed "All You Need Is Love" at Liverpool's commemoration of John's birthday and that he sang with children from the Dovedale School. Also, McQuillan has also been interviewed by a Liverpool newspaper. Our source said that because the story that followed was filled with nothing but praise for the production, cast and the authenticity of our story, "that this meant a lot that the Liverpool community accepts our project and cast."

Update (9/26/00) Liverpool.com reports the meeting of John and Paul was recreated for the movie Monday in Liverpool. Shooting took place at Reynolds Park.

I think so, because that picture was taken during the shooting of the day John and Paul met.

I really hope they at least sound like them. I know its's not a proper film or anything, but still.
I'm sure I saw the one on the left in Terminator 2, and the second one is surely Meatloaf from The Rocky Horror show!!!

I hope we get it on TV here. We probably won't, you know http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

P.S. Why do they look like they're in their early thirties? Surely that's wrong, isn't it?

I'll watch it as well and save my reviews of it for then. Personally, LenMac, you should have tried out for it. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

I heard it was primarily based on the meeting of John and Paul, and John's early life, ending with the Ed Sulivan show. Or is this a different TV film?
I hate TV films.
