Capitolrecords.com has announced the re-release of ATMP as a 3CD set on November 21, whichout any details yet.

I wonder if the 3rd CD indeed is unreleased material.

on abbyrd's beatle page, he has a news section, you might find out more there.the only thing iv'e heard is there might be some bonus tracks. but that would be cool, if there was some unreleased material.

Yes, I read the Abbey Road Newspage almost Daily.

Weird thing, I sent an e-mail to Capitol records asking them to forward the tracking list, since the current CD is a 2CD set (which ofcourse I have).

Less than 24 hours later I visit the Capitolrecords.com page again and the announcement is gone.

Maybe they will respond via e-mail.

New release rumors: ATMP reissue? (10/7/00) First of all, both "Plastic Ono Band' and "Double Fantasy" will be out next week. Promos have been sent out. We're told "Starting Over" ran into some hitches involving legal clearances for the art work and soundbites, but not enough to delay it. As for ATMP, we're told a Capitol exec went to England to meet with George a couple of weeks ago to discuss ATMP and his new stuff. No other details are available.

I just bought Pirate Songs, the Making of ATMP and True Legend for a total of $34 (no sleeves, just CDR, but who cares), so I can do with that for the moment.
