I thought it would be good to have a section/subject on latest beatles and beatle members' memorabilia, so that we can let each other know when something good is around.
For example, I saw the 2CD Rooftop Concert for $30 -
This is a CD-r of the famous 'final' Beatles show,albeit an impromptu one! The tracks are - Disc 1 Get Back (x3),Don't Let Me Down,I've Got A Feeling,One After 909,Dig A Pony,I've Got A feeling,Don't Let Me Down,Get Back (X3),Don't Let Me Down,I've Got A Feeling,One After 909,Dig A Pony,I've Got A Feeling,Get Back,I've Got A feeling,Don't Let Me Down,Get Back Disc 2 Get Back (x2),I Want You,Don't Let Me Down,Get Back,Don't Let Me Down,I've Got A Feeling,One After 909,Dig A Pony,God Save The Queen,I've Got A Feeling,Don't Let Me Down,Get Back,'Announcement Only',God Save The Queen,I've Got A Feeling,Don't Let Me Down,Get Back,I've Got A Feeling,One After 909,Dig A Pony Buyer pays for postage and packaging.

There's a gold-on-black label PPM on the American one I believe for 70$, but it might have changed. I've already got one so I don't care.

I have the 2 CDs from the rooftop show. It's the most complete version of the show, and then there's a ton of other stuff. It's from the other cameras. You only see snippets of them in the film. You know, like the interviews on the street and from inside the Apple offices. All in all, it's pretty important to have. But if you just want the rooftop show, go with the earlier Yellow Dog release. It's good enough.

I'm too skint to be hooked on any form of on-line shopping! Ebay just breaks my heart, it's like window shopping when you don't have the money.

You both have a point. You also , by going on and window shopping, get a good idea of the value of the items (which seem to reappear every so often) and a sense of when you find a fair deal. If you're really lucky, you'll want an item that nobody else has bid on (like a book) and get a real bargain.

Here's a story for you all...

The first thing I bid on in eBay was a copy of All You Need Is Love without the TV credit. I bid £5.50 for it, and when I won the bid, (Which was under the reserve) they didn't sell it. A couple of days later, I was back on again, and another copy, in better condition, came up for sale. I bid for it, nobody else did, and so I got it. I bought it for £2.00! It's worth £35! Another thing I bought off of eBay was Strawberry Field Forever reissue, but with the original picture sleeve. This picture sleeve is worth £40 alone. I bought it for £2.50!

Don't give up hope, you'll always get it in the end.

Jerry, that is SO bad!

Okay Harb, I won't give up! In fact I enjoy it. It's just you see something you know you can't afford, then you think "well maybe if I could just sell my sister. . ." but one day I'll be able to afford to bid for the good stuff!

Browsing through eBay, like you do, I found something rather interesting!!!

There were only 7 minutes left to bid. This is what I found:

"John Lennon SIGNED GUITAR Beatles
GBP 1,000,000.00 (approx. $1,500,599.98) (reserve not yet met)
Location = Liverpool.
Private auction, bidder's identity protected.
Description = This guitar was used on John Lennons first ever song in the 1950's, it is signed by him in silver ink on the string."

So what guitar's this then ay? There was no picture, and nobody made a bid!
(I was going to like. . .)

I thought it was quite significant.
I wonder who currently owns it, why they're selling it, and who's going to buy it.
