Does anyone know any Beatlehate sites? I did no two but one was closed due to bealtelover protest, but the other one is still running. It's at :
http://home.earthlink.net/~dragusa/dcu.files/lib.html
It called Let It Be-How the Beatles ruined everything.
I'm not trying to promote his site in any way. If you'd like to email him, his address is dragusa@earthlink.net and tell him how you feel.

There was a group of us that came across a similar site to that. The man was very angry and nasty, and probably a swine. So we sent him love-mail.

The site maker has just made a whole page devoted to tearing apart the best band in history. Well, I suppose that he himself has had endless #1s, and has the right to complain. I mean, the Beatles are ameteurs compared to him.

i find the beatle hate sites funny, because why would someone spend their time making hate sites and spreading negativity. It's just pathetic. And they ALWAYS say " i dont know why you can make a site about the Beatles proclaiming them the Best Band Ever". They just dont want to admit the Beatles were awesome and had a variety of music, not just one type of sound.

It's beyond me why anyone would waste time and energy on something they hate. If you have internet skills, use them to promote bands, artists etc that you love.
Really though, in a perverse way it's a compliment to the Beatles and all they have achieved. Vital art causes extreme reactions in people, hate being one of them. It's a testament to the Beatles continuing vitality that people hate them enough to design a website.

Sarge,
That web site is product of a very unhealthy mind. If somebody has a strong aversion for a group, then why spread negativity? What are the kook, or kooks behind this disgraceful web site trying to accomplish? The day they raise the musical bar and have long lasting impacts on fashion, culture, language and art is the day they can be taken seriously.
As my favorite uncle would say about such kooks, "their donkey ain't hitched to his cart" and "their cement mixer ain't turning right and their dump truck ain't dumping right." (He was in construction). I think such sites are nothing but a total waste of time.

You've got to feel sorry for idiots like this guy. Notice all his "hate mail" is either misspelled or grammatically incorrect. He's trying to make Beatle fans look like idiots. My guess is that half of those letters aren't even real. He says that people send him phoney email addresses - he made them up, I'm sure. That's probably the same reason why he doesn't post email addresses of his "supporters" - they're all him!

My only question is why do we Beatles fans take the time to read these anti-Beatles sites? We all know that what they say is bullshit. Basically, if we send them hate mail, it just encourages them. Plus I've seen death threats and stuff on the "Beatles Suck" site...what is that telling the Beatle haters? That we're a bunch of murdering bastards? Exactly.

shyGirl, PennyLane and others have really expressed this well. What is the point of promoting hostile negativity?! Seems very stupid to me. And yeah, you all are right about steering clear of that site. The kook who started it just wants attention and it would be in our best interests not to rise to the bait. One has to automatically question the sanity of somebody who would build a website on the premise of "The Beatles Ruined Everything".
Really now.....
Shall we take a good look at the state of rock n roll in 1963?
Not much different from today actually. Plastic phony managment manipulated non songwriting, non instrument playing manufactured teen idols dominating the charts.
Elvis, musically neutered and making nothing but cheesy soundtracks.
Buddy Holly, Richie Valens, Eddie Cochran dead
Chuck Berry - in jail.
Little Richard - preachin the word of Jesus and against rock n roll.
Jerry Lee Lewis - disgraced himself when he married his own 13 year old cousin.
Rock and roll was DEAD, for all practical purposes. Yeah there was the surf music thing, but anyone could see the shelf life on that wouldn't be long. Dylan was out there, but at the time, he was just one guy with a guitar. Brilliant, but not exactly rockin.
Who else was gonna save rock n roll? Who else could have?
