There was a previous post in which people were allowed to post a message to Paul McCartney for his birthday and Father'd Day. I missed that, but I would love the opportunity to write Paul a letter. Though he'll probobly never read it, I just want to write it for the sake of writing it. (And if anyone has a way to send it to Paul, I'd love it! :-))
Dear Paul,
In your relatively short existance, you've accomplished so much. I cannot even begin to explain what your music has meant to me, but I'll try in the best way that I can. I want to thank you for giving me something that I can hold on to and trust. Mr. McCartney, you have touched so many lives with what you have created. It is not only music, it is the embodiment of everything that is good and happy in the world. You have changed lives of people across the globe, as you have mine. Almost every living soul knows your name, and knows what you have done for the world. You have left a permanent mark that will not vanish with time. You've left your footprints on the Earth in such a way that you will never be forgotten. Not by me, nor anyone else who has been enchanted with the magic of your work, and the spirit of your legacy. People shall hold you dear to them for all eternity. In this sense, Mr. McCartney, you'll live forever.
