Hello, i`m new in this forums, i want to share a lot of topics about the greatest band of all times. My song is "A day in the life", my album, of course, Sgt Peppers.
Please, friends, answer this:
If you need to introduce the beatles to a friend, with a song, ¿ What song would you choose?
My vote is for " Dear prudence"
And don`t forget: I`ll get high with a little help from my friends!!!.

This should be on "And Your Bird Can Sing", but being it a great topic... I'd start with "A Day In The Life". There's no song that sounds as strong as that one. Just my opinion.

To introduce one of my friends to the Fab Four, I bought him the 1 album. He's been hooked ever since. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

This week, the Beatles greatest hits album, 1, is at number eighty-six on the USA album charts.

You might also want to get a collection like the Beatles 1962-66, for example. Hard core fans often frown on these compilations, but if you want to introduce people to the world's number one band, this might be a good place to start.

"1" is, as was mentioned by Mindgames is an excellent introduction. Heck, ANY Beatles you bring into somebody's life is a good thing.

We are suppose to be choosing only one song, not an entire album. The one song that I'd offer would be "A Day In The Life".

One song, huh? I'd go with "I Want to Hold Your Hand". It caught my ear, didn't it?

If you want to set a romantic mood, play "And I Love Her" and "Things We Said Today."

An act of friendship is to play "She Loves You" for somebody.
