That's just a rumour.
A sadening thought, but another rumour that has been verifyed is that the helpgame is going to close down in the very near future. There's a petition floating around on the internet somewhere to keep it opened.

I'm no prude, this/that, but I just went to this game and the language being used was crude and tasteless. I never did get to play because the "contestants" were carrying on senseless conversations. Maybe I just went there at the wrong time.

My computer won't let me type on the screen so I can't register to play the game. Does anyone know how to fix that?

It won't let you type on the screen at all?? I've never heard of that problem. The only problems I've heard at the Help game are script errors, which LOVE popping up all the time.
And why're they closing down the game, Harb?

Yeah, it's really weird. I can register my name and everything, but I can't actually type in the chatroom. It doesn't give me a little line or anything where you're supposed to type. So when I go in there, I look all rude and snobby to the others cause I can't speak, so I just don't go anymore. Total weirdness.

Oh, you know what, Jami? It might just be that your screen isn't big enough. If you go to the smaller version at www.thebeatles.com, (http://www.thebeatles.com,) that might work. I dunno.

If you can't type into the text boxes at the beginning, try clicking in them and then typing.
The text box to type into during the game is at the very bottom. If you can't see it scroll the page down and it should be there.
I don't go there much anymore because of the braindead hoodlums that venture in with names like Hitler or one that I saw called 'I Shot John Lennon' Those kind of people just have no life and usually end up getting kicked out by the moderator that's known as 'The Voice'

To all Beatles fans
I have just finished putting all the American
Beatle releases on CD for my own collection complete with album covers. There were in fact 20 releases in the U. S. in the UK only
13. All the orginal tracks were put together
for this work. Including The Orginal Soundtrack album of A Hard Day's Night, Help!
The Beatles Story and The Beatles Hey Jude Album. And one rare album Get Back. For those of you wishing to ask about the complete collection email me and I will give you the list of albums which were released from 1963 thru 1970. Hope to hear from you soon.

I spent some time there yesterday. I thought the easiest was Paul. Some questions:
When you enter the studio, where is the guitar? Is it in the cabinet that you need a key?
Where is the accoustic guitar?
Where are the drums?
One I suspect is beyond the maze, once the lever is pressed. The blue meanie in the snow kicked my butt coming right outr of the door.

George's sitar is in the cabinet. All you have to do is click on it and it will open. John's guitar is in the strawberry field. Paul's bass is in the submarine. Ringo's drums are in the snow scene.

last night I found Ringo's drums in the cabinet in Abbey Rd (key from basement). John's guitar is past the maze, and I heard that George's red guitar is in the snow slopes. I keep geeting meanied in there. Indeed, Paul's bass is in the sub.

Here's the help for Help...
Paul
Go through the middle right doorway to a scene with 2 meanies and a yellow submarine. The 2 meanies have a set moving pattern and are quite easy to dodge through. Once inside the submarine there are 2 more meanies blocking paths. Move down right in front of the first meanie and watch. Because there's a delay between clicking and moving, you have to be clever. When he's moved to the top, wait 1 second, then click the square just beyond him, in the little corridor before the next meanie. If all goes well you'll waltz past without getting hit. The second meanie is easier. He walks around in a square. When he's standing next to you, he'll then start walking upwards. As soon as he does this, click on the bottom left corner square. You should now be clear of both meanies and be in reach of the bass guitar. After you hear the beginning to 'Come Together', walk back down again, and purposely walk into a Meanie. Then, when you start again, you'll be back at the front door to the yellow submarine. Simply walk through it, dodge the 2 meanies, and get back to the gold disc.
Ringo
This is probably the easiest Beatle to win with. When you start, go down the stairs that are just underneath the gold discs. Walk down the stairs and take the first doorway on the left. and click on the cabinet. After hearing a bit of Revolution #9 go back up the stairs and into the gold-disc room. Then take the far right doorway. You'll be greeted with the Abbey Rd. zebra crossing. This is more luck than skill, and simply click on the opposite pavement. Most of the time Ringo makes it, but sometimes he does become roadkill. Once you have crossed the road go through the doorway into the recording studio. On the right there are a number fo cabinets. Click on the 2nd one down and you'll find the drum kit. After hearing the beginning of 'Why Don't We Do It In The Road?' walk back out the studio, cross the road gain and go back onto a gold disc.
John
This is the only task where you need 2 people. Since Ringo's instrument takes the least amount of time to get I suggest that he help. To get John's instrument, you walk him through the middle left doorway and into a maze.Go right and click on the orange button at the bottom of the screen. John will walk onto it and the beginning of the maze will open up. Move John into the middle of the maze and get Ringo to come and help. When he appears, get him to stand on the orange button you just stood on, and the rest of the maze will open, but blocking the beginning. Click on the bridge and John will find his own way through the maze. The next part is tricky but quite easy. As soon as you get into the next room, click on your instrument (Your instrument is in the midle of the screen, at the end of the hedge passage). The meanie will start running after you, but as soon as you start to run, he run back and stop over your instrument. As soon as you collect your instrument (You'll hear the beginning to Blackbird) click back at the doorway. John will start running again being chased by the Meanie, but as John is faster, nothing will happen. If John does get whacked, no worries as he reappears at the doorway still with the instrument. Once back in the maze, click in the middle. When there, get Ringo to press that orange button again. This will open up the start of the maze. Click at the beginning and John will find his own way there, and simply go back to the gold disc room and stand on a disc.
George
The hardest level is George's. It requires skill and quick reflexes. Georges doorway is the far left door. As soon as you go in there, a blue meanie will start running towards you. Before he can start running, click on the absolute bottom square. If the ground was square on instead of isometric it would be the bottom left square. George will start walking and the Meanie won't be able to catch him. Click on exactly the same square in the next room and the meanie there won't get you either. Finally, in the third room, click instantly on your instrument and you'll hear the beginning to Helter Skelter. Wait for a couple seconds until the Meanie is just starting to walk around the left of the wall in front of you, and then click on the doorway. George should walk around the right of the wall, leaving the meanie stuck behind the wall and you'll end up back in the gold disc room. If you're eaten by a meanie, there'll be no escaping the next attack, and the next, you'll lose all your lives and be out of the game, so make sure you don't get caught!
Hopefully this should help a couple of players.

Thanks Harb, that helps. I still don't know which character is which Beatle. When you are waiting for the game to start, who is at the far left, the two in the middle, and at the far right? I think George is the far right. That's all I know.
