Really? You think you've popped right back into things? You rarely post here at all.....neither does Lovely Rita. I don't think I would call that "popping right back into things." We'd love to see you two around more, though. So, how about it?

define "rarely post". granted, i'm not exactly as i was in my prime, but i post most every day here. you will only extremely rarely find me posting in any other forum, though; it's just expanded too much, and i wouldn't know where to begin. no, no, "beatlefans meeting place" will forever remain my home forum. the problem, you see my dear, is that the current topics have about 17 pages each, and i just don't have the kind of time necessary to devote to that. but don't you worry, as soon as school gets out, you'll meet the real brian epstein (the living one, at least). and i'll even drag katie back along with me.

I agree, Eppy, the response to your post did seem a bit snappish, but I don't think Jami intended it that way at all. I can well understand your confusion over all the new forums and topics, and yes, it will take you time to "catch up"... It takes me quite awhile, even when I'm visiting on a daily basis. Every once in awhile, something pops up, and I forget where I was, or where I've been. Take yesterday for instance... some guy ran into an electric pole, and our electricity went out quite suddenly. Needless to say, my browser did not recall where I'd been when I finally got to log back on an hour and a half later. It took over an hour to "catch up" even then http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif

I also agreed with your sentiments that Pat and Col should feel no constraints about coming back and visiting, nor any of the others who've perhaps lost their shortcut to this fabulous forum board. I've missed them all very much, and it's a little intimidating to wander into a conversation between total strangers. Col was always very good at breaking that ice, and we haven't really found anyone who loosens things up quite as well as he used to http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

Ah, well, he'll get a minute or two somewhere down the line, and come back... Pat did, after all! http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/thumbsup.gif

I'm going to define "rarely" for you: not very often......how's that? Good, huh?
I wasn't trying to be "snappish"..... I was merely making a comment about what Eppy said about "popping back into things". I don't think he's popped back into things at all, (and that's okay) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif I just meant that Eppy doesn't post much and most of the "newer" people have no idea who he is. They might wonder why he would say that he's popped back into things, when they've probably never seen a single post by him (and that's okay too) http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif I think some of the members are getting very tired of hearing how much everyone misses a certain someone when he's obviously not coming back. Why do we continue to harp on someone that isn't here anymore? And the comment about, "we haven't really found anyone who loosens things up quite as well as he used to" is very much not so. I think we have the best members here now, and do a fine job of breaking the ice. Anyway, enough said about this nonsense. I'd really like to close this topic because it's really pointless. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif

I agree completely. With the votes split, Jami (as our strongest link) gets to choose.

You are the weakest link.
