View Full Version : Cartoon Network's nod to A Hard Day's Night

Hello all, things have been quite busy lately, so I haven't had much time to drop by. Has anyone else seen the Cartoon Network spot that is a spoof of the beginning of A Hard Day's Night.

It starts with several 'toons running from a crush of screaming fans.

At one point they run by two newspapers being held up by two people sitting on a bench. After the crowd runs by, the top halves of the newspapers are lowered revealing an elderly gentleman (Courage the Cowardly Dog's owner) and Dexter (from Dexter's Laboratory) who look at each other. Dexter is wearing a false beard and moustache.

The 'toons are chased to a subway station, where they hurdle over the turnstyles, and run to board a waiting train.

I didn't notice if the crowd runs by any 'toons who are in phone booths, but I would not be surprised at all to see that they do.

I saw it a couple of times over the past week. But for the past couple of days I've been looking for it to see if any of the 'toons were standing in phone booths as the crowd ran past, but haven't seen it.

My son is a certifiable Cartoon Network junkie, so it is on quite often. I'll look for a pattern as to when it is shown.

My three daughters are avid watchers too. I did see it once, but don't remember the phone booths.

But what do you click on to see it? I couldn't figure that out. Is the new AHDN out yet? If so, when is it coming out? I forgot. Stupid me...

Near the bottom of the page is an image titled "Hard Cartoon Night", click it to watch the spot.
