My dearest taxgirl gave me this book for my Bday and I am enjoying it very much.

There is quite some about George in it and I will post that in the coming time.

One thing which is so funny to start with is this

George calls him at 2.30 UK time..and for some reason announces himself as Jane Asher.t year

Today i was reading in this book again and found out that the song "That which i have Lost " was meant to be in the film Time Bandits .

Very amusing to read that George takes Michael Palin to his studio upstairs and plays him a new song written for a musical about a one-legged tap dancer . The subject came up after George and Ringo went to see the musical 42nd Street .
We don t learn what the song is .

Page 283 - Pick up Ray Cooper and her and I set off for a day at Henley. George is waiting for us before the recently scrubbed walls of Friar Park. He wears a shaggy old sports jacket which he claims has been threaded through with dental floss.

Transfer from Ray's hired black Range Rover to George's black Porsche.
George drives us to Marlow as if he is at Silverstone. We dine at the Complete Angler.

Back at Friar Park, George runs through whole scenes of The Producers word for word, acting the parts out extremely well.

p.s. when we were in Henley last week at the Row Barge, we met a lady looking a bit like Pattie who said she was from Marlow and suggested to us to visit that village.
