Hi all,

I hope you remember me...I was a new member who posted up a storm about a month ago. I mentioned that I was dealing with a terminally ill parent, and you were all so wonderful and supportive, even though you didn't know me very well.

Anyway, because you were all so nice I just wanted to let you all know that Dad passed away on Valentine's Day, at about 8 p.m. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry.gif

And to bring this back on topic, I had to write part of the eulogy. After it was written, I realized that the last 3 words were "in my life." It made me feel like John was looking over my shoulder as I wrote it.

I send you all the love in the world from the other side of the world. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif You know I dealed with a similar experience last year (my grandfather died http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif). But, as Sean Lennon said once, "I guess when you die, you become bigger, because then you're part of everything."

Side by side, hand in hand
We all stand together.

#9, our deepest symnpathy and prayers are for you at this needful time. Sleepy and I lost a son, so we basically know what you're going through. "In My Life" is a great song to associate with. Another is John's "Beautiful Boy", with it's line: "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans."
Nothing can replace what's lost, but friends can help you carry on.
