I know... I saw this on BeatlesNews a couple days ago and was kind of shocked... and stunned. :wink2:
I mean, is this true??? I have already placed an order with my friendly neighborhood scalper just in case it's actually true. Now I've got to find someone who could get me some acid... this would be the perfect opportunity to dose! (j/k)

I'm going to go out on a limb and call BS on this one! This seems to be to far fetched to happen. Just someone continuing on the 40 year rumor of a 'reunion'. For world peace and breast cancer? Both worthy causes but I'd say not likely! Kind of like the refugee boat people charities that they wanted them to reunite for. Too much!

I know should post this video somewhere else on BL, but I also think it's kind of a wtf?! moment, so this thread seems the most appropriate.
Have you seen this? What are those crazy Norwegians thinking? :wink2:

OK, I had been trying to avoid watching this! You're correct. WTF? What is this about. I'm thinking that it's a promo for a TV show. However, I just don't get the tie in. A little help here please!

I hope not, this sounds awful. If they (Paul and Ringo) decide to commemorate the original performance (and hopefully promote a reissue of the live album) fine. But the digital John and George...no no no. Don't like that idea and don't really think this story has that much weight to it anyway.

It's twisted, it's random and I think it's complete genius.
As I understand it, there's this Norwegian TV show in which the hosts interview some of their favorite celebrities from the '80s or '90s. Then they do some kind of video salute to the guest(s). This video was a promotion of the upcoming or just-completed season, or something along those lines. (Dead helpful, aren't I?)
Anyway, many if not most of you have figured out that the audio is the Ferry Aid version of "Let It Be." Who knows why. I think it's so wacky that it's awesome. Huey Lewis lip-synching to Paul's singing? Tonya Harding? Lou Ferrigno? The surviving member of Milli Vanilli? This is like a gold mine for people my age.
ETA: Regarding the OP, color me skeptical as well!

It's not April the first yet this feels like a prank or rumor.

A part of me thinks that this is completely disrespectful to the memory of John Lennon and George Harrison (though we're accustomed to see Yoko insulting John's memory... last time I can remember was the One Laptop Per Child commercial thing with synthesized John Lennon...), as well as a bad idea in itself (who wants to see old Paul and old Ringo with young digital Lennon? George would fit though... If they were all old, maybe it would look insanely great... but then again, if they were all alive).
Now, another part of me thinks that this is completely awesome and the way to start a decade, as well as wow!! They're the Beatles!!! IN CONCERT!!!!
One part of me hopes it's not true, another part of me hopes it is.

I agree, putting pictures of two Beatles who died rather young with the old Beatles would look weird. If Paul and Ringo did "Walk With You" or something together without the digital images, that would be okay.

Yoko does NOT insult John's memory. In fact. we are grateful to her for keeping John alive in our hearts to the best of her ability. Thank you Yoko.

Amen, Sister Horse!
Yoko also inspired some beautiful songs from John. I think they completed each other.
