Hey you! Yeah, I mean you!!!
I'm so alone! Nobody writes me, but why?
YOU can change this! Please, please write me!
I'm a girl and I'm from Germany and I would be very happy if I met Beatle-People from other countries!

Peace,
Eleanor Rigby

Of course more than a visit or two here everyday does make your relations with the real world around you alittle shakey especially when you're talking to someone and you try to pass off your internet mates as real people. Not that I would know.

Eleanor, don't be lonely.

I am from Holland so close nearby and actually just was in Germany, Cologne. Nice place to be this time of year because of the carnaval preparations.

Trust you will like it here.

Ah, look at all the Beatle People.

Welcome here, Eleanor Rigby. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif Happiness is a warm gun, and everybody feels alone sometimes. But don't feel bad, because places like this can make you feel accompanied and happy (it worked for me http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif)

I'm from Chile, and sometimes nobody talks to me either. But I guess it has something to do with the way we live. Maybe our attitudes make people go away. Or maybe we feel different. But forget about that stupid crap, we all shine on, and we all stand together.

Feel united to us, feel free to share your thoughts, feel comfortable, enjoy the show.

Welcome to the best place in the Net.

FPSHOT, you're the greatest. Not only you made me smile with that beautiful post, but also you changed your signature to the one I said I liked http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif. Now there's a good friend.

By the way, I was about to ask you what happened to the picture that appeared next to your name. I should have thought before that you would change it for the colorized cover of "All Things Must Pass". (I really really want to hear that remastered album).

Thanks so much for being here FPSHOT, and to all of you out there for making the Internet talking a really amazing experience. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/grin.gif

See Eleanor? There's no need to feel lonely when you're not. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

Darkhorse, as I said when you joined, a Darkhorse and a FPSHOT have shared interests and will like one another. Thanks for the kind words.

I changed the picture again to the ATMP one, Jerry wrote to me that there was something wrong. ATMP is great!!

You mean the remastered one? Of course it hasn't arrived to Chile yet. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/cry.gif But I'm saving some money to buy it NOW!!!

And st.paulygirl, I don't know if this could be a little silly or sentimental, but I went to the record store the other day and saw the remastered "McCartney II" album for the very first time in my life (believe it or not http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif). It reminded me of you, because it's the first time I hear about a person starting to be Beatlemaniac with a solo album rather than a group one. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif I was about to buy it, but, guess what, I didn't have any money. But I have to hear it to see what on it liked you so much to be the huge fan you are now.

See, I'm talking to you. You're not invisible at all. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif

That's an interesting thought, darkhorse. I also became a fan through a solo album back when "Band On the Run" came out. Are there any other 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation fans who became fans by first getting into it through a solo album?

Well, to me, "Revolver" was the album that opened the Beatles' doors and introduced me to THE BAND... http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/smile.gif That's why I found that strange...

Hey Joe...notice the originator of this post is not me...it's Eleanor Rigby...small but signifigant differance. http://www.beatlelinks.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/wink.gif Plus I believe you were attempting to spell my real world name? Is that so? IF so you could replace that 2nd b with a d and sure I'd dance with you!
