This is not Beatles-related, but I care so much for all of you on this site that I feel I must share my experience with you. Last week, I had a grease fire in my kitchen. It happened, as all accidents do, very suddenly and elevated rapidly. By the grace of God, I had a kitchen fire-extinguisher at the ready and was able to douse the flames. I called the fire department and New York's Bravest arrived in minutes. They disconnected the gas lines, moved the stove and checked to be sure all was well. If I hadn't had the extinguisher, Lord knows what would've happened. Please be sure to purchase an appropriate extinguisher for each floor of your home because you never know when a potential tragedy will occur. I'm still shaken up, but, very thankful. I pass this advice to you because I want you to be prepared to protect yourself if the need ever arises. (May it never.) Merry Christmas, my Beatles Buddies!!

Thanks to all of you for your good wishes and kind words. I'm fine, indeed, and back to baking my Christmas goodies for the family. My Mom left quite a legacy for me to keep alive. I always do my best! And so this is Christmas...

Happy to hear you are OK, and good thing you acted so wisely, well done to those wonderful firefighters too, reminds me how, to use a uniquely Irish word 'banjaxed' we would all be without the likes of them, paramedics etc. Sorry I have been so long responding, been out of the picture somewhat of late, (see separate post).
