Help NASA Choose a Beatle/John song for shuttle wake-up!

NASA is allowing fans to vote for a song that will be used to awaken the astronauts on the last several shuttle missions. Currently, Imagine is the highest vote getting "Beatle song" (6th place) with Good Day Sunshine (7th) and Here Comes The Sun (18th) trailing. I am confident that Beatle folk can push these to the top. Voting runs through Oct (I think). Here is the link. You can vote as often as you like and the verification code is not case sensitive. Another good choice would be "I'll Follow the Sun." However, my first vote would go to "Here Comes the Sun."

Yes, they did... it's supposedly the official "hello" from Planet Earth to whomever may be listening. The first song beamed into space, aimed at Polaris. (I hope John and George hear it... :cool1:)

Lol, all week on Twitter I've been seeing the Trek people I follow telling me to vote for the Trek theme. Which I would have, had there been no Beatles songs on the list. But I chose Here Comes the Sun (Doesnt look like it happen though...the Star Trek theme and Steppenwolf and currently neck-and-neck). But, we have till Nov 1 I think

Sorry, I voted for "Rocket Man." But interesting how "Magic Carpet Ride" is the second favorite. I just cannot imaging that song shooting around through space.
