(This is something I posted in USENET in Feb.)

As to whether the Beatles were in on the hoax,no.
Here's another set of 'clues'-which point to February 9,1965.
("Number Nine","Stupid Bloody Tuesday").
They are:
"Last night is the night I will remember you by/When I think of things we did, makes me wanna cry"---the arguement before Paul's fatal crash.("The Night Before").
They,of course, had to make sure his replacement could "Act
Naturally".And plastic surgery because "I've Just Seen A Face". The presiding doctor-"Doctor Robert".Also, the casket was made from "Norwegian Wood".Since nothing could be said,he was "buried along with (his) name/nobody came".The presiding clergy
was "Father McKenzie".(both "Eleanor Rigby"). Also note on the sleeve of the "Help!" lp,Paul is the only Beatle not wearing a hat.
How about these 'clues'?Shows how you can make folklore out of
nothing and amplify on it.Again,I do not beleive the Beatles
were in on it.
Tim

Harbridge, the Mythical date of Paul's death is not Novenebr 2 but November 9(Number 9,numbver 9...)

I'm sure that I have all of those clues on my page, and yes, Paul did 'die' on Tuesday Nov 9th, 1966. It's on the Sgt. Pepper bass drum. Visit my site for further details.

Tim, if you haven't checked out Harb's site, you really should. He's got practically ever "death clue" you can think of, and then some.

Thank you
Good site, didn't see the Norweigan Wood or Dr. Robert clues, you can use them if you wish.
Also with the drum skin--most outtakes show the order as John,Ringo,George,Paul--for some reason for the final poic the order was reversed--which makes the skin

(Roman numeral) I -- ONE --(Roman Numeral) I---X---HE^DIE
Or 1+1+1=3

Actually, that's the basic clue from the Bass drum on Sgt. Pepper.

The bass drum logo was designed by the fictional character called Joe Epigrave. Split this up and you get Epitaph and Grave. What's usually on a epitaph on a grave? Well, shouldn't there be some kind of date? Look at it this way...

The bass drum logo, when mirrored, says, '1 ONE 1 X HE () DIE' If you take the first 2 numbers, 1 and 1, you get 11. The 11th month is November. The second number, 1 X, is roman numerals is 9, so the bass drum is now saying, 'November 9 HE () DIE' November 9th is a Wednesday so it still goes with the clue on She's Leaving Home, (Wednesday morning at 5 o clock as the day begins), and also starts to go with other songs like Rev #9 which has background sounds of a car crash with Paul screaming, 'Get me out! Get me out!'

You can now get to my site at http://www.paulisdead.net

There's only one dead beatle.
Isn't that enough for you?

LenMc, You know I'm running my site out of interest, and not out of belief. I've also decided that when Paul really does die (God forbid), I'm going to temporarily close down PiD and set up a memorial site.

Harb,
With the drum skin, you could also get II,the Roman number for 2,and my theory is he "died" February 9,1965,or in month II(or 2 as you wish...)

Actually, he 'died' in 1966. If February 9th, 1966 doesn't fall on a Wednesday, then it won't fit in with songs like, 'She's Leaving Home'. I'll have to check it out.

Thank for this. I appreciate it.
